I have a question about Hero Probiotic Gummies!
Q: Is 75g too much sugar/candy?
A: We see Hero as a ‘better-for-you’ swap. Instead of a 75g bag of standard candy with empty calories, you are choosing a version with verified probiotic benefits.
Q: Can I just eat half now and half later?
A: Absolutely! As long as you consume the bag within the same day, your total daily intake of probiotics will be the same.
Q: Why not make them stronger so I only have to eat one?
A: Because we wanted to bring the joy back to snacking. We wanted you to enjoy a full portion size without the guilt, rather than taking a ‘medicine’ disguised as candy.
How do I read a lot codes?
We print production date as lot code on our products. We have different forms of lot code based on what facility we are packing the product in:
- 23001D: 23 – last two digits of year it was packed, 2023. 001 – Day of year it was packed, January 1. (Follow Julian calendar) D – Shift it was packed (D – Day/ N – Night)
- 23001: 23 – last two digits of year it was packed, 2023. 001 – Day of year it was packed, January 1. (Follow Julian calendar) 3001: 3 – Last one digit of year it was packed, 2023. 001 – Day of year it was packed, January 1. (Follow Julian calendar)
- 0730012V03: 07 – Factory code 3 – Last one digit of year it was packed, 2023. 001 – Day of year it was packed, January 1. (Follow Julian calendar) 2V03 – Plant codes
How long will my candy stay fresh?
Our shelf life varies from 12 months to 24 months depending on the product you purchase.
12 months – Licorice
18 months – Candy Bags: 150 g – 700 g
24 months – Peg bags and pocket pals
Why does it say your products may contain certain allergens?
We source our candies globally and some of our suppliers handle allergenic ingredients in their facility. We add these precautionary statements to ensure transparency and safety for consumers.
Are Huer candies kosher?
No, Huer candy is not Kosher certified.

We pack our candies in a peanut/tree nut free facility. However, we recommend checking with your doctor if you have allergies prior to consuming our products.
